Happy Feet (Violin Duet)

I originally wrote Happy Feet for two of my beginning violin students who were looking for a piece that would challenge them while still being enjoyable to play. The result is an upbeat violin duet featuring catchy rhythms, playful dynamic contrasts, and memorable melodies that students will enjoy from the very first rehearsal. Written with accessibility in mind, the piece uses comfortable finger patterns and approachable rhythms while giving developing violinists the opportunity to strengthen their ensemble skills through careful listening, rhythmic precision, and expressive playing.
